On the 6th of January, 2008, I planned a FO8 event. It's a single event, and will be driven on Aston Grand Prix.

Date: January 6th, 2008
Time: 21:00 CET
Track: Aston Grand Prix
Car: FO8 (Formula V8)
Qualification: 20 min
Race: 23 laps
Pitstops: 1 mandatory stop
Other: No shift+p/shift+s during qual or race

I hope you guys are interested in this event. About time the FO8 gets some attention.

Come on people! It's gonna be fun! Especially with the new patch. The FO8 can still flatshift, and it's slightly more agressive, really nice to drive! It also seems there's a little less dirty air, so more close racing aswell!

We have first round of GFC season 2 on the same night so I guess there are a few of our drivers that would want to take part but can't.

Yes Count, I'm one of them. GFC takes precedence as it is part of a league but if it were moved I would take part in this one-off race too.

BTW, there's a server available for practising, called "Formula V8 Event".

I made a small change in the rules. During qualifying it is allowed to chat, and also to block messages now. During race it's not allowed to chat or block messages.

So how did the race go guys? Sorry I couldn't make it. Hope the server was Ok?
