i dont know if any of you guys have seen this, but the makers of trackmania released a game called Track Mania Nations which is free, and you race for your country against the clock from people around the world obviously

its tons of fun, and yes you can make your own tracks

graphics are pretty outstanding too

Very fun game. Very good graphics and driving is also not bad even though its not simulator. One thing that im dissapointed is that they dont even have Polishillepall To bad that I cant play with my country, have to play with my favorite

Wow, looks good - downloading now. Trackmania was a terrific game, but I wasn't too impressed with their more recent one Sunrise. This looks like good fun though.

I enjoy a lot the TM games, they are a great approach to arcade racing. Reminds me of the old good 'Stunt Driving' days

hm seems there are 'to many players' that came lol so the main server is down (kinda funny, in the message that pops up, whoever typed it mispelled by and typed bye.. fixed not but it was funny)

sorry about the timing lol, but online its alot of fun (its ghost mode, so.. that keeps ALL races clean lol.. but also because this game is more of a time trial game than 'race')

I'm bored now. Theres only so much of this game you can take - especially since using a proper wheel is such arse.

After several failed downloads i've now got it setup, much more fun than Sunrise. Online play is a bit flakey still but hopefully they'll get it sorted out soon. What little I could play online was very fun.

From looking at the graphics, it look's like TM and A1GP put together car-wise, and you are quite right: They look d### impressive, and it's compatable on a huge range of computers!? Wowee. Can't wait to try it out

In my opinion the thing that has bothered this whole Trackmania series is the way too simple driving model... yes I know this isn't supposed to be a simulation (lol ) but the driving feels like "car turns, car's doesn't turn" if you know what I mean. It's just too plain to be addictive for me.

lol i know what you mean.. its hard to understand it.. it is nice to see the suspension and all work on the cars though, thats definetly a big plus

That buggy would be quite fun in LFS.

did you make a user name and whatnot?

i havent checked in a while, if it says the main server is offline because of the number of people blah blah its moving, just hit okay whatever and then you can continue on, all its saying that the main scores of the countries arent being saved, but there are still servers up

I had the same problem in the beginning You just have to write a password you want when youre making a profil.

do people in this game all play with keyboard?, or is there a way to play it with wheel or mouse? if so, wheres the option?

oh hey, incase you didnt know, hit space to type messages lol .. took me a while to figure that one out
