Hey hello guys. DO any of you play HW2? If you have played this game and do still have this mod in your hard drive, can you do me a favour? Help me upload it somewhere where I can still download. Because the original authors website had closed down and he cancelled the mod so there are no more links to dload this fantastic mod. From what I can make out the mod stopped being distributed about 3 years ago, going to be very tricky to find it.

OMG A HOMEWORLD FAN. I played the Original, cataclysm and Homeworld2. There's also rumor that Homeworld3 is planned

Well, I use to play it and I would gladly play it when I find my CD again (and when there's enough players). Right now I'm more focused on Sins of a Solar Empire.

I've got HW2, but it's unmodded. And waaaay too difficult for me. I just haven't got the right kind of brain for RTS games.

HW2 is hard when you go at it like any other (Red Alert, etc) RTS game. This game asks for super aggressive tactics.

Well if you modded it it will be easier for example with the HW1 Classic Rebalance. It has resource injections and NO RESEARCH options. Siege Station has both of that options and many more.

Well, I always use Aggresive tactics to fight. I wonder why the force-fight action is gone... I love killing my own ships for fun in the Original Homeworld. Shift-Ctrl and click on the ship you wanna kill, you can even shoot nebulae and asteroids and finally your own ships.

About the mod, it is great! That's why I wanted it so urgently. But since I found it, I'll post some picts of the mod when I have time. Now I have temporary put the files up on my site so when people want it I can give the link :hyper:

Homeworld, never thought there would be LFS players that played this game . I played all of them, HW, HW:C and HW2. If you are looking to prolong the pleasures from HW2 I would reccomend HW2 Complex or the HW2 PDS mod if you haven't tryed them already, both free offcourse.

I tried the PDS, it is one of the best mods out there! For the Complex, I didn't try it before... And I don't intend to because Siege Station is best! Well I just visited the Complex website and wanted to take back my words That's fantastic mod! So many new things and new ships esp the Dreadnaught
