this may sound stupid but what is a "skin kit" i see them every where but when i get the there not like your normal skin. so what are they?

A skin kit like master skinners skin kits come with; all different parts of the car in separate layers, things like the canards, mirrors, wings etc are all labeled in the separate layers. Most importantly skinnerz kits come with the wire frame. This shows all the bumps and curves etc of the car and helps line objects shapes n stuff like that.
Skinnerz kits are in .psd format so without a program such as Photoshop (others are available) the kits are pretty useless to you.

ok i just downloaded one but where do i put it since there are 4 skin forlers?

Skin kits are for MAKING skins. Put it wherever you like. Then once you have made your skin you save it in your skins folder in LFS as a jpg.

If you have downloaded A SKIN, then save it in LFS/DATA/SKINS !
