delay in steering
i'm having a problem with lfs2 , i have been playing lfs (original) for a long time and recently upgraded to s2, in lfs 1 the steering is exactly the same on screen as i turn the wheel (g25) in s2 there is a delay, i have done all the setup with the profiler and have it set to 720 degrees etc. if i turn the steering say half a turn left and right on the g25 quickly the on screen wheel and steering of the car gets left behind. It is not too bad for racing but i'm also trying drift and this makes it impossible to catch the car as it stars to oversteer. any ideas much apprectiated as i'm going mad
It may be something to do with dead zones...

I'm not really an expert on wheels
Maybe it has something to do with compensation. Don't know for certain, because I have never touched that slider.

Give it a try.
For G25 it's best to set turning radius to 720 degrees in the profiler / driver settings (since this is the biggest lock that LFS cars have), and wheel turn compensation to 0 in LFS. This way you should always get the correct amount of steering radius for every car.

Few more points about settings, you should set spring, centering spring and damper effects in profiler / driver settings to 0, these are canned effects that aren't needed in LFS. Too strong force feedback can also make the steering feel worse or unrealistic, I use 101% in profiler and about 20% in LFS with G25.
yeah i have done that, didnt make much difference, maybe it is just that i am used to s1 but really i think s2 isnt as good for drifting, it's fine for racing but cant catch a drift at all. I'll have to keep practicing i guess. Thanks for the info

One thing i've found out is that sometimes when my computer is under too much load i get stuff like that.. You could try lowering settings just to check.
I get that when I have v-sync on. Try to disable it, both in LFS and in your videocard driver.
Turn driver and wheel off is what I suggest. Options > View > Draw driver/wheel :... That's the way I play it, put the screen as close to the back of the G25 as you can. Seeing the driver turning the wheel put me off sometimes so I disabled it all together. Keeps your eyes on the road.
