Quote from deggis :All tv series are more or less continous.

Umm, no they aren't
Series like Prison Break and Heroes are all connected one to another and i can't think of any other series that are the same right now. Sopranos, Simpsons, X files, Supernatural, Homicide, etc, etc, etc are not continous in the same way. Yes they have one major plot that goes on in most episodes, like governament conspiracy in X files, or chasing their father in Supernatural, but almost every show of X files is not related to the other, in one they are chasing the spider-like man, in the next it's the wierd creature from the mud, you get my point?
Prison Break is like a giant movie, every show contionous on the next one so you gotta expect some milk cowing..

24 and Lost are similar too. I know what you mean but what I meant was that all series are more or less continous because that's the point of tv series.

I know what you mean but Sopranos doesn't belong to that list. It's actually one of the most movie-like series (among few other series made by HBO channel), because every episode is like a single one hour long movie but all episodes are still connected together in a complex way. Plots usually takes episodes, even seasons to build up and you get so often references to something that happened many many episodes ago that the continuation is even more important than in Prison Break where you basicly can forget what you saw one minute ago - because so many of the events has no meaning or consequence in the future turn of events.

Milking the cow doesn't mean that... it means that you have an idea, like they had in Prison Break season 1. Then the idea was already used (escape from Prison) and now there's pretty much nothing left from the original idea. Now they just keep milking and making new seasons until viewer ratings drop low enough.

For example I remember (might be just bullshit rumours) that Prison Break was originally meant to be a miniseries and now they are talking about making at least two more seasons... right.

Yep, Sopranos are on my Top 10 list While it's not like X files, it's also not like Prison Break with those cliff hangings, which i really like.
I can understand that it's a whole different story probably when you watch Prison Break once a week, i got them all on PC, so i've seen them all in like last 20 days.. It's much better that way, i couldn't stand waiting a week for the next one, so it's probably not the same feeling that way..
Series one is also my favorite, but while 2 and 3 have some cow milkings, it's still very entertaining to watch and i can't say that i could think of a better plot
clickie! :P
Just watched the latest episode, it was ok I guess, didn't get me that hyped up as it used to ... /me want Heroes! ... Lost is coming ... mmmhhmm
btw, anyone seen the new Terminator series , The Sarah Connor Chronicles ? Is it any good ? :P
anyone here that watches PB at the U.S.?... they stopped airing

anyone knows why?... its only mid-season 3
Due to the Writer's strike, there are only 13 episodes which have currently been produced for the third season. Although the strike was resolved on the 12th of February it is still unknown if, or when more episodes will be produced.

Rumors around the net claim Prison Break Season 4 will be back around October.

So i should cliff-hang now till october, at best? You better punched me in the face Deggis... are there any news on "Heroes" at least?
I like PB but if they get put back into prison i will not watch it becuase its boring when there in prison but people think Sarah is dead i don't think she is becuase she was pregnant so the writers may hae said she was dead just so she was out of the show until she was able to get back into filming again.
Unless the Prison break story is happening in a parallel universe where re-attaching a half-decomposed severed head to a body becomes a surgical routine, I don't think so...

The head may be a fake so they may do that but well see.

So by that, Season 3 is over, and we need to wait till October, Michael Scofield can go f+ck himself
I stopped watching prison break pecause they got out of jail, now i may start watching it again pecause i got told that they go to prison again, and 2 other shows i watch are the sipmpsons and friends
it's back now ....

downloading the episodes now
K, i Watched the first 2 episodes. And I must say, too much action, this is getting better and better....
I stopped watching half way through the last series. Series 1 rocked my socks, and series 2 was pretty good. But then it became the same thing almost every episode. Just like Lost, of which series 1 was brilliant...

"I have a plan for getting out of prison!"
"O rly?"
"Yea, lets go out through here! *Points at window/floor/ceiling/door/etc,*"
*Spend 2 episodes planning the escape, only to be foiled on the 3rd episode*
"Wait, I have another plan to get out of prison!"
"O rly?"

Repeat as necessary.

To quote a pair of greats - "So what are we going to do tonight, Brain?" "Same thing we do every night Pinky. Try to take over the world!".

Although I may watch the next series on TV, to see if it picks up a bit. Certainly not worth the bandwidth of downloading though
