--4 LAPS TO GO--

-BF1 noob leaves pits and enters track behind me (FZR.)
-BF1 noob proceeds to pass me on main straight.
-BF1 noob crashes at first turn, and I pass him.
-BF1 noob gets back on track, gets right up my ass and tries to pass me, forcing me to pay attention to HIM rather than the track; I lose valuable seconds.
-BF1 passes me, spins out, and I narrowly avoid him.
-BF1 passes me again and then keeps trying to drive quickly, but all he's doing is sliding around and slowing me down, almost causing me to crash.
-etc, etc, etc...

There was the whole other 95% of the track (80% if you consider the other few cars that were actually trying to race.) I always get out of the way when I enter a track mid-race and usually pull over and stop whenever someone who I think is actually racing gets anywhere near me. It's common courtesy.

So PLEASE all of you in those BF1 cars... If you are passed by a slower car that is actually racing, its because he is a better driver than you, and you should STAY behind, and if you DO pass, make the hell sure that you don't get in the way. It's very aggravating to the people who are trying to race to have to fight with these speed demons instead.

Sorry - bit of a rant - and it's probably been pointed out before - but I was a bit pissed off.

Yeah I know. And I know that posting this thread is not going to change anything, but maybe one or two of them will read it and think differently.

Well, that or they'll immediately join some server and start wrecking people and laughing. Either way.

I see his point though, I also hate midrace-joiners :chair:

At least those who don't cooperate and act like they have a total lack of common sense.. but anyhow, how important can a grid-position in a pickup-race be? Get your qualytimes inrace!

Don't join a server with every car available if you want to race GTR's?

It's an open invitation for the nubnubs to take advantage and kill races.

Glorian, imo the OP had a valid point. Even virtual race track is a race track, not a sandbox. If one can't control his car or respect the ongoing race, he shouldn't be there.
