He is a racecar driver! drifting is racing weather you Hard core racers wanna admit it!,,,, stop yea anti-drift and accept it! He hasnt fooled anyone! He is a driver of a car that competes as tho he is a race-car driver....

There has been a MASSIVE argument on this. Drifting is NOT racing...!

Nope, not at all... You see, he doesn't enter races, he enters competitions... There, time doesn't define the winner (as in "who is quickest from A to B/A"), points do (as in "how good did he slide there?")... In addition, his car isn't a race car (it probably would suck as one)...

Can you grasp the difference now?

I'm so sorry guys. It honestly wasn't my intention to start another racer/ricer/drifter thread. I was actually intended to point out that neither mikespeed or greg_slideways have said anything useful, informative or accurate about motor vehicles or driving, and therefore find it amusing they class themselves as 'real racing drivers' in the sense of this thread.

Greg and Mike - if you want to take it to PM feel free. But here isn't the place to try and defend your views. Or, of course, you could resort to poorly spelt emails that don't, unless you are a grape, make any sense. I'm happy either way.

Incidentally (little pet hate coming up) it's "I couldn't care less", not "I could care less". To say you COULD care less implies you care quite a lot now. I know it's become a sort of figure of speech, but bear in mind it means THE EXACT OPPOSITE OF WHAT YOU THINK. Rant over. Night night.

Nope i know nothing...O well, i guess i should go and die now!..Well fortunitly i do not care about what some guy on the internet says about me, pointless maybe i am but knows nothing, thats a little strech, but i can gladly say feel what u want! Freedom is great!

Edit: aswell as drifting i go to racing servers and race so yes i am a racer! i enjoy racing ALMOST as much as drifting, i like drifting due to the way you drive more on edge! i am a adrenaline junkie ive ridin a ride on racecar and drifter, drifter was more on edge so i enjoy it more! Not to say im not pointless i know i am most of the time but to say i know nothing thats plain stupidaty! ...and yes i cant spell..get over it i stink at spelling i am no good at proper english i am a slang guy!

But it also means you are under the control and restrictions of your parents. When you become an adult you might become free, but you'll soon discover that real life doesn't work like that.
