I am in the market for another graphics card but am unsure on what to get out of the following.

System Specs are

CPU - Intel P4 550 Prescott 3.4ghz
RAM - 2GB
MOBO- Asus P5GD1
PSU - Corsair HX 520watt
Current GFX Card - ATI Radeon X700se

I'm not too familar with the 2900GT, but I believe its somewhat of a locked down (i.e. not just declocked) 2900xt/pro.

Both would be a pretty big upgrade from your x700.

Sorry i don' tknow about the 2900.

Its not the exact card but performance should be similar but either way the 2900 would beat the x1950.

Ditch both and get the Radeon 3870 instead. The 2900 series, and especially the X19XX is getting obsolete. If you can afford it, get the nVidia 8800GT, but that might be a bit too expensive.

Get the 2900GT. Not an amazing card, but for less than £60 its a cracking deal.
