Sixaxis help(ps3 controller)
hi everyone I am just wondering, I have gotten my ps3 controller to work pretty well. I am just wondering why it is that the steering is so loose and twitchy even though I have steer smooth all the way up should I change the degrees to something I have it at 180 right now. it does this for most cars i cant afford a steering wheel either
bump any help plz
It's a controller and this is a sim, there is no "damping" effect like in most racing games out there, when you twitch the stick, the game twitches.

Unreal to an extent, but far more real than some guy that takes 10 seconds to steer from lock to lock like in PGR4
IF you are using sticks for steering and accel/deacceleration, it will be very sensetive, no matter how you set it, but there are thing that might help a bit...Set the lock value of your controller in LFS to 90*. Also, if you can, use less lock in setup...

But its still nowhere near to a wheel, even a cheap non ffb one...I quit playing LFS when my old wheel died, until I bought a new one, even tho I had a pad.
try getting dxtweak2 and putting some deadzone on the steering axis, this helped me when i used a ps2 controller

I downloaded some driver for it but the throttle and steering are on the same stick and are very sensitive, how can i change it???
