Nooooooo no no no noooo no no nooooooo no nooooooo nooooooooooo
She's average at best. Am I the only one that still remember her from Dark Angel? LOL
The Eye sucked. The Original Chinese ghost thriller was MUCH better. it was better acted, had better frights, was better written and was better directed. Hollywood should stop trying to remake asian horror cause they are failing horribly.
Heh I remember Dark Angel :P I actually liked it. Its pretty cool .
I like J.A aswell. The eye does seem like a good movie but I dont think ill go watch it at the movie theaters though.. I have a feeling its the kinda movie you rent and watch at home at midnight with the lights off :P
Rambo ..well, i don't know what all the hype is about. How it got a 8.1 rating at IMDB don't know. It is without a doubt one the goriest films I've seen, but it's a load of old crap imho.
Rambo is great... for what it is.
If you honestly expect ANY film with Rambo in the title to contain oscar-winning performances from the actors, I am afraid that you have much to learn young padawan!
As a temporary escape for an hour or so, it ticks all the boxes, not even Chuck Norris comes close! (and I heard recently that he counted to infinity...TWICE!!!)
Story is very simple...baddies kidnap goodies, and Sly goes in and goes all "Rambo" on their asses! Lovely special effects with holes appearing in chests etc...and the bit at the end where is a lovely gore fest!
I saw Cloverfield today, and i think its a pretty cool movie, very interesting, and a lot of action, but it made me dizzy at some times. Too much camera movement, and if it was made from another perspective it would be an awesome movie, i leave it at cool movie
The first ring was ok and it was a Japanese Horror not a chinese horror (very VERY different styles of film making that you analyze in film school)
It was good...until the end. THE EXACT END just threw everything the film makers establish prior right out of the window. I was so angry I literally threw candy at the movie screen
OMG.....Rambo is like the most misunderstood movie EVER. The original had a serious message and what did people get out of that movie? Not some profound sense of changing injustice...no...THEY TOOK OUT AN MINDLESS KILLING IDOL. Mind you there's really no problem with that (look at 300), but that was FAR from the point of the original film.
Notice how he didn't kill anyone (that 1 kill count is not true that guys feel from a helicopter) in the original. That's a very important clue to what the original filmmakers were trying to say.
