I knew it was changed, just for some reason thought it was put back a week rather than forwards. Not to worry, should be a good night of racing as per usual.
The comitee I talked about last month actually moved the next meeting to tomorrow - as if they knew RSWC also moved - but now I'll just skip that meeting and take the RSWC event. After all I practiced a bit and even modified a setup for this combo.
1:20.9 is my current best time. I don't know if I have any time to refine the set today - if I do I'll upload the result.
I'm again not sure, if i will be there. I'm off with school to football tournament and we will return later in evening.
If i will be usable, then i'll join and do some backmarker action... yeah, someone has to do the dirty job.
I've been very sick the last couple of weeks. So much I couldnt physically sit in front of my PC to excuse myself from last race. I tried some laps today, but it's making me very dizzy, I'll try to make it tomorrow, but things aren't looking well... Too bad for the championship.
Ghost posted a hotlap of 1:20.8 for the RAC, so I guess that won't be a pole for you .
Anyway, I'll go and do some online-practice in about 30 minutes. I still need to finish that set because it's almost good (which would be a first in all my LFS history).
Given that I'm normally challenging for that last position even after getting some practice in, this time without any practice so far I suspect that I may be challenging for the inverse podium positions also.
I've finished the set now. My theoretical pb has improved to 1:20.7*. It's as good as I can get it for now.
I'm sharing it because it's meant to be driven with 720° rotation. Most Fz5 setups I've seen require far too much counter-steering to be quick beyond 270°.
You can get the set here.
Sorry, won't make this one, going to the doctor for my rally-license.
I hope to be able to race, but the first rally is coming up and I still have some work to do on the car, but i'm pushing
Have a good race tomorrow!
