Thanks for that Sam. The problem at the moment is I'd like to store existing times so that I can chart users' improvements and roll back to the last-fastest time if times have to be deleted because of exploits, etc, etc.

I'm currently using a statement similar to what Dygear posted above. I don't need to award people with the same laptime the same position, as the person who sets the time first gets the highest position (by design), so I *think* I'm okay at the moment. But thanks a tonne for the offer.
