Should be between 2002 or 2003. Not too long ago actually, they aren't redesigning a new one yet because of the changing in regulations. I think they might build a new NSX, possibly V8 or V10 in around 2010, just my speculation though.
btw back on topic I think the new civic is getting to "westernized", I still favour the shape of the EK series, although we all know this will goes like mad and be in a class of it's own.
they are making a newer NSX at some point in time, because i remember reading about it in on of my motor trends a few months ago
looked it up at motortrend.com and it says that acura is ending the NSX, only because of the emissions regulations of the US for this year.. kinda dumb right?
well anyways, it goes on (this is what confused my with what motortrend mag. said) they are working on an 'HSC' which is basically just the decendant of the NSX
2002, four years ago. A lifetime in modern motoring. Japanese manufacturers seem to be hamstrung between building people movers and catering to the US market. Both of these things seem to produce ugly and/or underperforming vehicles.
I wonder what has driven this change from the exciting '90s era of Japanese exports? I look around the JDM these days and there's barely a two door turbo-charged coupe to be found. Instead we get FF abominations that look like robotic hamsters. Cars are turning heads for all of the wrong reasons lately.... ridicule being foremost. Apart from the odd supercar that none of us could ever afford, choices are becoming scant for male drivers. Grandfathers included. Bring back the sporty coupe, I say.
