I'd like to suggest that there be a LAN only multiplayer system. I noticed this when I had a few mates over and I wanted to race them on a demo-level server. The problem was that there was no option for network play, so we had needlessly high pings. Please, a LAN mode would be much appreciated.

You just choose 'local' when you want to create a game....

Prehaps there is, but I've never spotted it. I might go have a bit better look...

Sure is a LAN multi mode, we use it nearly every lunchtime at work

The thing I think you're missing is a LAN browser, which currently doesnt exist in LFS - you need to know which IP address the server is running on.
