Slow acceleration, and from what I could see, theres no real top speed difference. 145 MPH.
Tight steering in my opinion...it would be tough to avoid a crash if I had to.
Also, I broke loose on Turn 2 alot, when I wasnt before...only turn 3.
Im trying to get used to using a set I found while searching the Car Setup forums. I called it my NASCAR setup, and here it is...
you can run 47.7's drafting, but on your own a good average is about 48.15 or below 48.20's thats what i run consistently without draft, and my best is 47.99 befor the new patch hotlapping that is, my best since the new patch is a 48.05ish but hotlapping only got a 48.09
Please don't think that this race is going to be just for those aliens who set near WR times every lap. It's open to everyone. Provided that you have the right mentality and are a clean racer, then you can still enter. The entry requirement of 500 laps can be attained by merely doing 6-7 laps every day until quali day. So, even if you're new to oval racing - come and join us - you'll learn alot from the pros.
If you want to start practicing from scratch, then i recommend this:
Take the attached setup, and add a couple of degrees of wing. Drive some laps to get used to the car, and then slowly lower the wing 1 deg at a time until you reach its present state again. Once you have mastered this, then start adjusting the other settings to gain a faster time.
