Real world LFS track locations?
Ok, so everyone knows Fern Bay is in Jamaica and Kyoto is in, well, Kyoto...

What about South City, Westhill, Aston and Blackwood?

Can we pigeonhole them to a real world city location?

I seem to recall someone claiming Westhill was meant to be in Wales, and that South City was some part of London (though it seems like a smaller city to me).

I tried digging up old threads on this topic but got nothing.

Lots of info on car analogues, not much on tracks.

Have at it!
Blackwood is (afaik, from the STCC broadcasts), in Wales, just off the motorway

I've no idea
Be creative, the tracks locations aren't really explained.

Besides, all the tracks in England don't use scenery from the real place, it's another country entirely . (Except South City)
England, or possible Great Britain are as far as they can be tracked down, although some of Londons street layouts match South City quite closely (although the road signs don't match that area consistently). My bet is that a road map was used as basic inspiration for SO, but then Eric just adapted it as he saw fit.
Fern bay doesnt have to be in jamaica, could be round meditereanean sea too

We know it's in Jamaica as the tracks are named after the flag; gold, black and green.
Because in another thread, it was said by the devs that Blackwood, Southcity, Aston and Westhill are all located in UK.
There's a Westhill just near Aberdeen in Scotland
According to the LFS website, all of them are in England apart from Kyoto (Japan), Fern Bay (Jamaica) and Autocross (doesn't say).

On LFS.net it says that Blackwood is in England, NOT Wales as the STCC broadcasts said, and Westhill isn't in Ireland even though it was slated to hold the Irish SGPA race.

I've been playing LFS since day one and I didn't ever notice that gold, black and green were colours of the Jamaican flag! Learn something new every day...
wow that is amazing, it gos to the chicane!

Maybe there should be a Live for Speed track draft?

The easier way would be to turn the wind on and see the flags on the masts.
