I couple of you have heard that something has/is changing in my life. Besides me going back to university to complete a BA my wife and I found out recently that..
We are expecting a little one! It's still very early yet but still it's a big life change =)
Hehe, it's been ages since I picked up my steering wheel. I dabble in the CTRA and try to come up with new ideas for it but I won't be big into driving simulators for a few years now I think.
Besides I have my car, although many people on the forum wouldn't care for it, it's my little joy in life since I cannot afford anything better. There have been talks of selling it, but frankly it fits what Aimee and I will need for a family car too! Gone will be the track/street pads for something not as noisy and my suspension will be turned down but the car had 4 doors, seats 5, has child safety restraints, full size spare, and a full boot. I may even take the wilwood brake kit back off and put my factory calipers back on, at least I could run pads that las more than 10k miles. I wonder if I can find a decent set of tires that could last that long. My BF Goodrich KDW2's have barely lasted 12k... Granted that was a trackday at Silverstone and a day at Santapod, but still, Aimee and I will need money for Nappies =)
I won't be drag racing for a while, but for me thats not a big problem as I only did it because it was so cheap. I will miss being able to get on a racetrack though, but eventually I will make it there again.
Who knows, we might have a little boy and he MIGHT just be interested in simulators =) I have a little brother who's coming onto 12, hopefully I can get him into LFS more. He plays but he's not very good and I cannot instruct him very well 4,000 miles away hehe.
I will be staying in contact with the LFS community that's for sure. I will stay helping with the CTRA thats governing all of Vykos' Online leagues but with school and Aimee not feeling well I have not had much time for anything =) I suppose I better get used to it!
