All this over a single bomb scare? When I was in school (or is that, when I had a school?) we had bomb scares constantly. It was close to being a common occurrence.

well, i mean, the island is small enough that we can block off the highway and scan the island inch by inch... they blocked the island off when we had the bomb threat, even though we had the day off, we could not go off the island...

In order for a criminal to be caught they need to leave evidence that links them to the crime and the police can't arrest the suspect without probably cause.

Forensic evidence sometimes takes weeks to develop and any smart criminal will not give police probably cause to search and arrest them on the spot
