Quote from SamH :LOL! Probably!!!

Hopefully! It's perfect the way it is. Race 2 server has produced some of the best racing I've ever had in LFS.
I believe what the OP is looking for are servers that have track rotations, like CTRA, but have different cars, and don't require licenses to enter.

If I recall for a short time before patch X, Sam put up the "GTR Club" server, and probably the "FOX Club", etc. Those were servers that used the track rotation logic, but used other cars and were open to everyone.

I'm not suggesting that the CTRA change their license structure. It works quite nicely as it is. But I think a lot of us would like to see the track rotation logic on other servers, even if it's not in the CTRA. I think there's an insim app to do just that posted somewhere.
I'd be on the next flight, and begging dave to IPSEC him.
You don't really need to win any races to get silver. If I remember correctly I had a total of two (2) wins when I got my silver license.

I can understand it being frustrating on the Race 1 when you can't get any points. But if you don't get any points it means you are not a good enought racer. That's a fact. Whether it's because you are slow or end up crashing or are a part of the T1 hassle.

I would really like to race the XRG but alas the Race 1 is not the place for me. The few times I've tried it, after gaining Silver, I've just seen too many reportable incidents and I've ended up filling reports in stead of racing. It just isn't fun anymore.
Sam's last post really does conclude this, but I think it should be made damn clear to the OP that if his idea of driving a 'super race' results in finishing between 10th and 15th in Race 1, there is a lot of work to be done. I'm pretty bloody slow, and I can finish higher than that on a single pick-up race after stepping out of a single seater - because experience taught me more about racecraft than the OP knows.

Put simply, if you can't finish high enough in Race 1 to be earning any points, then you are not of a high enough standard to hold a higher licence. Yes, it can take a long time to get above Bronze, but if it didn't, the status and expectations attached to it would be lost.

I get the impression, though, that you are really not listening to a word we say, and that you are simply hell-bent on getting to drive the faster cars without having to work for it like everybody else; so perhaps I should save my breath trying to be reasonable and speak a language you might understand. Here goes...

Shut up. Get lost.

Yep, thats EXACTLY what i want.
Quote :oh yes, coz of that i think it'll take a long time till i visit ctra again

Then go race for no points on another server... *shrug*

UKCT did open servers with track rotations that required no licences. The GTR Club, Fox Club, Odd Compo Club etc etc. They even had a weekly points competition.

They stayed empty.
Stefani24, you can host your own server too. Then you can change the track as often as you like. Because you host it you are the admin and you can kick/ban all those nasty wreckers and other idiots that might cause disturbances.
At 1st, i may not open the ports, coz im not the only internet user, and 2nd i cant run a dedi, coz my parents dont wanna have running pcs all the time. -.-
