the driver is the only people who can set the car's F11 & F12 setting, & see how many fuel the car have now.

In the real racing, the team mannger should be see this & changh this, so, I hope that the allow someone to see & changh it.

e.g. I let "A" be my manager, so, he can help me to set fill up how many fuel in next pit, use which tire & how much tire pressure, F11 setting...etc, & he can see how many fuel I have.

Why the hell would I want to spend my LFS time checking and adjusting your fuel and stuff? And why can't you do it yourself?

It would be "more realistic" if someone else does those decisions. And it is pain-in-the-bottom to adjust while driving.

But ya, I almost posted earlier to this thread asking the same thing you asked. It would only work on a bigger championship-leagues, not in daily-racing.

Yes, it is a pain in that part of the body that you use to sit down to do that while driving. However, as tristancliffe would say when he pops up sometime later, like 90% of the actual race drivers don't have a team leader and have to do that by themselves, and since LFS seems to be more oriented towards club racing, it would be unrealistic.

However, as an idea it's not bad, and I would go towards being able to pre-set a certain number of race strategies and have it linked to some buttons, so you could still change your strategy while driving at the cost of one key stroke.

So you could have presets to 'change tires only', 'add a certain amount of fuel only', 'repair damage' and so on, adding them up if you would want or need it, since that would be a kind of confirmation of what you 'want'.

Unless some competition would specifically want that to happen (in case they ran in teams and somebody would have to organize things), I don't like the idea much.

well an idea myself and one of my team mates have been thinking of is being able to set a password that people can enter to gain access to your F12 settings.. or something along those lines.
