Tongue Twisters
I was just wondering if you guys could collect some of the best tongue twisters. I have a few, but I would like to see yours!

So...

- How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?

- A noise annoys an oyster but a noisy noise annoys an oyster more.

- The sixth sick sheikh's sixth sheep's sick

- Elizabeth's birthday is on the third Thursday of this month

- 33.000 people think that Thursday is their 30th birthday

- I'm a sheet slitter, I slit sheets, I'm the sleekest sheet slitter that ever slit sheets

- She sells sea shells on the sea shore, the shells she sells are sea shells, sure!

- I'm not the pheasant plucker, I'm the pheasant plucker's son, I'm simply plucking feathers till the pheasant plucker comes.

That's it
Quote from LFSn00b :Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers;
A peck of pickled peppers Peter Piper picked;
If Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers,
Where's the peck of pickled peppers Peter Piper picked?

I broke my tounge.

Those two aren't tongue twisters, surely?

The rest are good though, can't say some of them to fast or
Quote from Bob Smith :Those two aren't tongue twisters, surely?

Well the topic of our English lesson today was tongue twisters, and my teacher mentioned these. Probably they are, but easy ones
not that i am aware of bob.... maybe simply because its all T's.... but T's dont make good tongue twisting words ... for me at least.

the others are fine and i still get buggered on a simple red lorry yellow lolly.... "DAMN" see!
Quote from Töki (HUN) :The sixth sick sheikh's sixth sheep's sick

That one's a killer; I can't even read it out loud.
Quote :When a twister a-twisting will twist him a twist,
For the twisting of his twist, he three twines doth intwist;
But if one of the twines of the twist do untwist,
The twine that untwisteth untwisteth the twist.
Untwirling the twine that untwisteth between,
He twirls, with his twister, the two in a twine;
Then twice having twisted the twines of the twine,
He twitcheth the twice he had twined in twain.
The twain that in twining before in the twine,
As twines were intwisted he now doth untwine;
Twist the twain inter-twisting a twine more between,
He, twirling his twister, makes a twist of the twine.

:twirl:
Wasn't the pheasant plucker's son one a song?

Niko, those are EVIL! I'm glad I hardly have my voice

EDIT: Don't forget foreign tongue-twisters

Most European languages don't use our "th" sound at all, so those two could possibly be really difficult to master
Naturally any sound that your native language isn't familiar with can be tricky. For me the estonian õ does the trick

Dunno if this is a Toungue Twister.

But its weird. Sounds like you say same thing 3 times

Real Eyes, Realize, Real Lies.
I put my foot in a bucket, I footed the bucket about, the more I put my foot in the bucket, the more I footed it about.

nothing tricky about it

õõõöööääääööüüü.

Then again, finnish is easy for estonians. I've been watching MTV3/Nelonen/and the Yle channels since i was a little boy due to the fact i live on the northern coast
Howabout?...

Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwyll-llantysiliogogogoch

That's actually just one word, a place name in Wales meaning The church of St Mary in the hollow of white hazel trees near the rapid whirlpool next to St Tysilios of the red cave.

But if you think that's a tounge twister, what about this name in Thai...
Krungthepmahanakonbowornratanaksinmahintarayudyayamahadiloponoparatanarajthaniburiromudomrajniwesmahasatarnamornpimarnavatarsatitsakattiyavisanukamphrasit

Which roughly translates as... Bangkok.
