S2 Licence question, about skins.
Hey guys, I know that on the demo version of LFS, the skins you have arn't visible to others. But ive seen some screenies from people with S2 licences, and i see other poeple have custom skins and the person thats taking the picture can see it.... So can you see custom skins if you have a licence? I'm like a hair away from buying a licence...

When you buy an S2 licence, and race on S2 servers, ALL car skins are automatically downloaded and put on the cars on the track. You can design your own skins and upload them to LFSWorld, and then everyone else also sees YOUR skin. No need to click on anything, download anything, mess about with anything.. it all happens automatically. It's totally awesome. Worth getting S2 just for that, if you ask me, but the extra cars and tracks are pretty neat too
Probably worth mentioning that you will only auto download skins if you A) have the option enabled and B) The user has uploaded their skin to LFSW with the exact same name. All downloaded skins come standard as 512x512, while there is an option for the higher res 1024x1024 auto-downloading for a very small fee (1 pound per 1000 skins IIRC).

£1 for 2000, or approx $1 USD per thousand
Even better!
Here's how it works.

You upload a skin. It can be either optimum (512 by 512, up to 400kb), or hi-res (1024 by 1024, not sure what the size limit is).
Use that skin online
Other people download the skin with the same name. Downloading 512 by 512 skins is free. 1024 by 1024 skins cost 0.05p each, but you pay in whole pounds (for 2000).
There are also hi-res helmets, which cost the same. Normal helmets are 256 by 256, hi-res helmets are 512 by 512.
I wish you could upload skins by bulk, just thought I would throw that in there.
Are you sure that's the account name you want, with all those numbers in it? Once you buy a license, you will have to stick with that name. Make sure you like it!
