Just asking for those who work in a office, what is the best antivirus and spyware software for small business's and offices. I know there is AVG(Dont think this one would be appropiate for a office/small business) Trend micro, Norton and Mcfee. Deffently not going to choose Norton as it slows pc's down a lot and seems to tell you that you have viruses what you don't actually have. The virus protection is another mark I need to gain but I know the virus protection what is out there but not what they use in offices and what one is the best for small business's.

You are not doing it for me, I was just looking for some advice/guidence, my teacher has said there is nothing wrong using others expertise, so that means it is fine asking for others guidence.

A couple of big name protection suites for businesses would be F Secure and NOD32. F Secure is probably more suited to larger organisations.

ok thanks, anyone else what to say some, not saying that amp88 has chosen the wrong ones, just seeing what other say at the one what comes up the most I will choose, most likely to go with the NOD32

I've only heard good things about NOD32. Considering it myself as a replacement to Norton.

I've been a paying customer of NOD32 for 3 years now and I would recommend it to anyone. Very small resource footprint and great protection.

Ha Ha, I always check that my coursework is readable before it gets submitted

i've made my own server at home...its not hard, get server 2003, create an active directory , with the DNS server, wack a few roaming profiles in after making the domain, and then connect the client PC to the domain...

I think that is a bit pointless, it is abit of coursework in ICT not going to really happen we will build the database but thats it, all the rest is just explaining what will run it and how and we wont need to put a server OS in a peice of coursework really.
