Yep, just tested: It is a global variable.

Perhaps it's only one widescreen resolutions then (since they have a seperate FOV), as I distinctly remember having to set the FOV for every car after upgrading to the latest patch at one point.

I also wish I could adjust the fov for each car.

The fov decreases with the speed really so it would be nice to put adjustable.
