My FOV is pretty much like that too... I find higher values ruin the immersion and I can't concentrate as much.
Ok, we'll go with this layout for this race and ponder alternatives for the future.

I only asked because when I use FOVs like that I totally loose the sense of speed. Might try it out though, I am painfully slow and that might be one of those things that helps

I can "feel" the car better when I use a very low FOV like that, but I do lose the sensation of speed and the gains in feel aren't great enough to outweigh the loss of peripheral vision, IMO.

Talking about pitting, i ´ve got a doubt about the lines: the pit exit line is clear, but the real entrance line is just after the last turn... are we using this line? should we have some tolerence to touch it a bit (before the oval starts), having in mind is quite difficult to see it?

The layout we're using has a pretty clearly defined "blend point" for both entering and exiting pit road.

Bear in mind that the blend line is not the exit used to determine if you left a closed pit exit. Rather that's the traditional pit exit (at the end of the pit wall).
