Hi all!

I have just put a new graphics card into my PC. I had a GeForce 5200 FX and I have just put a Ati X300 Pro in. The computer is working fine and I have only been able to test it on internet games. But when it comes to LFS it freezes on the main menu screen.

As soon as LFS loads it freezes on the main menu screen for about 5 secounds, then it goes onto a black screen and I have to resort to reset my machine. I have tried a clean version of LFS but the same problem occurs.

Any ideas guys. Any suggestions welcome and Thanks in advance!!

Can you tell us how you fixed it. You could help other members with the same problem aswell.

I haven't fixed it. I have put my old card back in and returned the Ati X300.

why did you buy a crap X300??
There are lot better cards available.

Did you uninstall your nVidia drivers and install the proper ATi drivers?

I've been thinking about buying laptop with Radeon X1350 in it (HP 6820S). I don't mind about other games, but would that computer run LFS nicely?
