ROFL!!! From my dim and distant past.

The C actually stands from Crackerman, although my Uni friends did various Cockman photoshops, as you'd except.

I am a member of a local amateur dramatics group, and do things from Pantos to Musicals, Comedies to Dramas etc, and have been doing it for about 10 years (having a break this time, as the racing was taking all my time [and money]).

When I was 17 (maybe 18) I was cast in the panto called Crackerbox. Written by one of the late members of the group, it was first performed in the early 80s, and they wanted to do a remake of it. As I was the only young male in the group at the time I was sort of automatically cast - despite not having a superhero physique!

That is the promotional photo taken at the time - that picture was put on lampposts in the surrounding villages for a while, and we had huge audiences.

And I've heard all the sock jokes... I didn't use any

Am I ashamed or embarassed? No! I've done plenty worse things than that. Dressing in drag for Rocky Horror for example was much worse.

And, to cap it all, I ended up going out with the lead female role (who was my age ), so it was worth it anyway...

I like to think I've lead a fruitful life so far. I'm pretty sure I can turn my hand to just about anything really, except music related topics as I'm just not musical in any way. DIY to prancing around in tights. I really do enjoy my life

Not removing it, just wondering what else is one there. Apart from putting a youtube link on there the other day I barely use it these days. Facebook is much better

Edit: I'm on the right, obviously. My late brother is next to me (Nigel). Debbie, the girl I ended up going with after Crackerbox, then Laura (Debbie's sister), and three of her friends. Debbie and I were 17; Nigel, Laura and the rest were 15 or 16.

Pfffff - What use is a social networking site without slutty chavs or emos?

I tried Facebook - would be great but is a PITA to use if your School isn't listed, or if your under 18 (or 21 - not sure). Not sure what it is about Bebo but it just seems to work better.

That sounds like a challenge. Most of my old thread wrecking crew don't visit here as regularly as they used to, but maybe I could get them together in a Magnificent Seven stylee to trash this one for old times' sake.

Ha thats great! maybe not the drag one lol!. I dont have the balls to do anything like that, acting or singing. I remember being drunk in Ibiza and my name got written down on the friggin karaoke list, that was one of the worst/best nights of my life. Hell it was a laugh, but even though i was drunk, i was s****** myself with nerves!
