Need some help here, can't find JPG files ..
Hello.
I'm following this totural http://www.lfs-gear.com/TUTORIALS/TuT_Beginners.html
it says that in the Skins folder it is JPG files, its not. Just a document telling me that this is where to put the skins I've made.
So I check in the Skins_x and every file there is DDS which I don't even know what it is. Can't be opened in paint either.

Some help please, as soon as possible
You can't open .dds files in paint.

As for not finding jpegs in your SKINS folder, maybe you should put a few in.

skins_X is where the skins you download automatically go.
ok, thanks for the fast respond, but where do I find skins to edit and put in my skins folder?

With the change a few patches ago LFS uses .dds files for the default skins now.

You could get them in .jpg format by downloading the CMX Viewer
Downloaded it, started it up, I have the XRT infront of me but can't understand what to do ...

The .jpg files you want to edit are in <LFS Viewer>\data\skins\

Open them in image editing software.

Open them in image editing software.

Nope, I only have a document saying this:

This is the folder where you should place any skins you make or manually download.

If you want to make skins, you should visit www.lfs.net and download the CMX Viewer.

The CMX viewer is a free skinning tool which has templates for all the skins.

Skins in this folder will be automatically converted by LFS to dds for in-game use.
