sorry, this may sound a little noobish but... how do I record sound with fraps? I mean, the game sound, not the microphone... I just can't find it out please help... I looked with the auto search and I think there's nothing. If it has been asked, I'm really sorry but I'm on the go, my apologies...

You need to turn on "Record Sound" option...

I have a problem.. my recorded sounds are too quiet, it almost can't be heard. Can anyone help?

I had the same problem, but I solved it in an another way. I've got a a wire from Output plugged into microphone plug. It records audio in Stereo with great quality, try that

they say an image is worth a thousand words. so here it is..
i guess it`ll work from there on..

edit: just opened fraps.
if you check "detect best sound input" you can see it auto selects "Stereo Mix".
Maybe you have zero "stereo mix" volume.. look it up and let us know.

and.. relax . i have my plans regarding the license.. it can`t get away from me.
it`s definitely not expensive, but it`ll be bought after a series of some 'expensive' stuff.. waiting for other stuff now, like obutto shipment, niels test(improved 911 wheel), and nvidia 9800 GT to hit the "streets".
