surely theres a difference in a culture changing and vanishing by itself over time and one being systematically destroyed by an occupating foreign government no?
Its about time china got some opposition. Us Americans are too scared to loose our plastic crap to do anything except say, "please don't kill those gu- ohhh..."

Jakq,
the problem I get from believing that story is why on Earth would China want to pull some crap like that now? Especially RIGHT NOW?
Another thing... I was kinda pulled from reading this thread, but I don't think I saw any photos of the same guy being a rioter/chinese cop in it. There may have been some, but I didn't see any. I only read this in the article. and to be honest, I wonder about the objectivity of the woman that reported this.
I know that the Chinese aren't above using sleazy tactics like what's been claimed, but I just really don't think that is the case this time.
If this had happened in 2006-07, it would make more sense that the Chinese orchestrated this. It would of cleared the air long before the lighting of the olympic torch. But who knows, Governments that are trying to look good on the world stage make mistakes like this all the time.

I still like the Shao-lin idea
is he roled by Chinese Amry?

Hmmm, I wonder why theres all these angry Tibetans having 'riots'? Perhaps it's because a neighbouring country has invaded them, imposed a government and way of life on them which they do not want, and takes pleasure in locking up anyone who dares speak out against such a thing, if anyone peacefully opposes the occupation of Tibet, the Chinese government locks them up, so when all peaceful means of protest are repeatedly crushed, what other option is there for thsese people to get their message out other than violence? Wether thses 'riots' we're faked or not, the fact of the matter is that Tibet doesn't want to be ruled by the Chinese, but is, against its will, and so its people must be very fed up.
God, nobody knows how to take over a country correctly nowadays. Couldn't china learn anything from south africa?
Quote from Albieg :Racer Y, please give up with the dope, it hurts you. Tibet isn't a place renowned for heroin production. I'll refrain from commenting the rest to avoid wasting space.

I'm on Dope huh? Dude, just because I throw in sarcasm and off the wall comments, Doesn't mean I don't know what I'm talking about.
I was dead on about the Hollyweird PR firms....

NOW are you willing to listen to my Shao-lin Battle Royal solution?
Oh the irony - a chinese criticizing western media...
Now we just need the Americans to tell about invading another countries - oh they arrived already
we learned it from imperial britain, do we need to go back to where they learned it from? it goes on and on...
