may not be the fastest, but in my eyes the very best 2.0l touring car ever, the alfa 155 1994, gabrielle tarquini won the championship with, great season aswell

The best car of all time bar none is IMO the Eagle Weslake, it just looks and sounds beautiful. The best winged car would have to be either the Tyrell 001 or a 956.

As much as I hate it for being the evil thing that defined nearly 30 years of increasingly boring to watch rally cars, a string of silly road cars I think the original Quattro looked and sounded so exciting going through a forest very fast and very sideways. It's unique in being the only front engined four wheel drive rally car that I find more exciting to watch than the RWD generations, the first and the best.

Not only through forests on gravel but on tarmac too!

I can't find a overall favourite, but ajp mentioning the Group B era, this is my favourite RWD from that time
