Hi.

Well, this is a simple video...not too hot effects...almost raw.
It's just one of the best times i had racing on lfs in alooong time, soo i decided to turn it into a movie.
The place was South City (Town Course - CTRA - 08/04/2008) in a clear afternoon, racing for 7 laps where you can see a good fight all race long, about 14 overtakings witch 12 of them are between me and Sert.Shole, as well as some nice finish where MeisterEder joined the fun, with 3 cars fighting for 1º place.

It's a bit long the video...but it's worth watching in my opinion...

Crazy race!!!

Great video aswell, loved the shaking effect when the cars get really close aswell as the bumpy effect when the camera is right beside the car.

The video is a little long for my particular taste but the editing as always was great. For an 8 minute long video it did have constant action, which isn't easy to do... I give it a 9/10, nice work!

Btw movie makers....in this video do you feelt the need for more effects? Or the simple lfs look is enough?

Would it be possible to get the video? I am collecting good LFS videos to my hard-drive so I can use it "for PR" (Showing my friends what LFS is all about. Couple of them have already bought a license).

I don't think it needs more effects per say but I would like to see some brighter colors. When I make a video I apply level effects to every scene, if not the colors turn out a little dull after rendering. Ether way it looks good, but that wouldn't hurt any... BTW I really like the camera shaking after cars go by, that looks good.

I used to use color settings...but i dont know why...on rendering it will kill some fps. And God knows how my pc needs those.
And the shake effect was actually the only one i used...

Sure thing!
But you will have to wait until i upload it...and it's 935 MB aprox.
Tonigh i will start uploading to filefront for you...and if i may ask....after you download it...can you do me a favor and compare the YT version with the larger one for low fps? Im having some issues with enconding.

935MB? Is it possible that you compress it a little bit? I have 100meg connection, but I have limited amount of HD-space. 200-250MB would be optimum.

Lol....i have another version on my other pc that is 293 MB....but because it's and + or - 8 minute video the quality went away....
I have and 100 MG version on the other machine also...that's the one on youtube....but...was compressed on movie maker....from 1.9 GB to 100 MB.......its makes quality go to Mars and the fps to Jupiter!

Maybe I should remove some pr0... Backups. Upload the biggest video to the internet. I will download it tomorrow (Possibly before work, if I manage to wake up early enough).

hum....u sure there mate? my version looks ok. Try using other video players. Anybody knows if Filefront changes anything on the videos that are uploaded there? ( im not talking of the streaming)

Aha... altough the quality was ok, i knew something was wrong!
Remember in my last video topic, when i wanted someone to download a "full version" ?? This is why... it's been sometime since i've noticed some weirdness on the quality. But i wasn't sure if it was my pc/codecs/graphics driver controllers.
By looking at the screenshots, i think maybe it's from my divx compression....not sure.
Btw...that Lynce's video was how long and how many Mb?
