2 small bugs
I have seen this 2 bugs this this evening in a race.

1) If you roll just a little backwards at start, the servers gives you a false start. Thats not realistic.

2) I got an "Stop and Go" Penalty. Well, the Stop and Go penalty is not a stop and go. I tried it. You have to stop 10 seconds. So this should be called "10-second stop and go". A small but fine difference which forced me to do a second stop and annoyed me much

Why would you want to do that?

Not on purpose, I guess, I had earned a DT for rolling back on FE3 in GTTC Round 3 race when my car spawned without a handbrake, still more of a driver fault.

As for SnG, its correct, its the way this penalty works IRL
Of course it was not on purpose and my own fault. But the situation is buggy

But it only happens if you release the handbrake, and thus you can't come up with this if you don't mess around. Not sure what FIA says about moving in ANY direction before the lights goes out...
yh btw in real racing a stop go penalty is stopping for 10 seconds so the name is correct

no, there is also a stop and go penalty where just the tyres have to stop and then you can go on. so it is not correct

It also happens if you switch to reverse...

I have seen starts in F1 where drivers roll even just a little in front before green and there is no penalty. I somewhere someday read that you have a tolerance of about 30cm. So rolling backwards a little will definately not lead to an penalty in real racing.

Ok, but you should think about "coding hours vs result". I don't mind if that is "fixed" (Read: Included) in LFS, but imho it is waste of workhours. Just my opinion.

Yes you are right. I also think that there are much more important things to code atm. I just wanted to mention it.

In case of the penalty it should be just a change of the string "Stop and go penalty" to "10-second stop and go penalty". This could be fixed in a few seconds i guess.

True about that. For example, I didn't knew the amount of seconds in stop & go penalty before you mentioned (Never had that penalty...)!

Mate that is realistic.. stop and go penalty is real

10 second stop and go is not real.. That makes it less realistic..

Maybe it depends on the racing series. I know that in indyCars late 90s there was a drive-through, a 10-second-stop-and-go, and an stop-and-go.

I have seen it with my own eyes, so pls all stop saying that it is right, it is not. or at least not in some racing series.
I cannot remember any race on tv where it wasn't called 10 seconds Stop and Go Penalty in the TV inlays. But this bug is such a tiny thing. I'd suggest that you to tweak the language file a bit. Somewhere there you'll find the part where stop-and-go is translated. Then you can change it to 10s stop and go.

The other thing with rolling at the start. It is quiet realistic. I did roll a very little bit frontwards, and did not get a jump start drive through. These 30cm you read about are based on the fact that sensors and electromagnets in the asphalt collect the information about the position of the car, like at some traffic lights. Here in Germany these traffic lights are signed by the signs like "please stop at the stopline".

Thank you. Godd idea with the language file. Will search it.
