A few noob questions!
Hi there, I will be playing LFS as soon as I get my new computer in a few weeks, but having done a bit of research into the game I still have a few questions! Any answers will be much appreciated!

1. I am looking forward to the online play, but how good is the AI on singleplayer and how many can you race against in a race?

2. I have seen there are online 24 hour races, but is it possible to do a single player 24 hour race against AI opponents?

3. How realistic is it to play when using a G25 wheel??? Is the clutch control really realistic?

Thanks for all your help!!!!!!!! Ben

1. AI is mediocre. It will give some challenge to you, but when you learn to race in LFS more and more, you out-skill them pretty quick. On demo, there are max 12 cars in a race. On S2 there are 20.

2. It is possible. I have done 4 hour race against 19 AI opponents. However, they gets pretty boring. And on 24h races, you switch drivers (No one can drive 24 hours straight).

3. Clutch is modelled pretty well. As is everything else. It is _almost_ like driving a car in real life.
Nobody can drive 24h straight?

The last big 24 hour race, someone did, and I was intending to (until my G25 broke).

Well, lets say it otherwise: You have better chance of winning if you switch drivers. You can't concentrate properly if you have driven many hours without stretching/eating/drinking/going to a piss.
I was lucky, I would have been 1 of 4 teams in my class, and in the end, I think only 1 of the 3 teams that started finished, and if my consistency has shown me anything, I could have done well against those other 3 cars.

If you want co-driver next time you race 24h, ask me.
