i here kay-ter-ham and kay-tur-am or even kay-tram but in america they say kat-er-ham due to the american accent.

It's a greek (κάτερχαμ) word and you're all mispronouncing it.

For the record i'm a posh northerner (from Newcastle), but i pronounce it Kate-er-rum

Could you give some more info or some closer link, i cant find anything. And is this competition for demo racers, or S2 licensed? (I guess it's demo only, but just curious to ask )

Pretty sure it's open to anybody.

If I win it I'll be donating the S2 license to a needy demoer.
