Why not just take it home when you get it and show it to your mum like happy birthday, how the hell can you expect to hide a dog for 12 hours without scaring the ****ing thing to death?
dogs dont make damage so much. ive had dog for 4 years, and ive noticed that just put it into some small pretty warm place where it cant hurt itself. the shit isnt a big thing, you can take it off easly. and put some towels ower the floor so its even more easyer and it cant pee straight to your floor. if its small puppy it needs much love and care if you tough it wont be hungry/else all the time. thats my suggestion, ive had actually 8 puppyes in my house(our dog, than later came her 7 puppyes. one of them died when our dog gave a birth )
I have to agree with Mr Mooney. Its a dog for christ sake, why bother going through all the trouble of trying to hide it?. Not asif she is going to say "Bah, its a day early, i dont want it."
Also, it's a bit selfish getting a dog to give to your Mum but to have for yourself. You know she doesn't like dogs yet you get one anyway. I can see it getting the boot sooner or later...
from the sounds of things, you don't deserve a dog IMO. from what i have read here, if i knew your address etc the RSPCA would be at your door tomorrow morning (or the morning after you got the poor thing).
You're having a laugh mate, that or you're mental.
Your mum hates dogs, and by the looks of things you're probably no older then 15, my advice to you would be to mature a little or think about getting a cat. A Rottweiler isn't a dog, its a machine, and one that can kill pretty easily. We've had ours for about 3 years now and I can tell you its no walk in the park.
Not to mention the fact that you have seem to have an iq lower than Peckers and probarly don't know the first thing about training a dog, never mind one that needs proper training in order to stop it becoming what they were effectivly bread for, a killing machine.
These dogs wern't meant as pets, though I bet they make good ones once they have been braught up properly, even those ones can turn at the blink of an eye and do some real damage.
If your not giving up getting a dog, atleast get something a bit smaller and timid, spaniel or something...
Getting your ma a gift for yourself, that's really frickin low. You even seem to think being a selfish little tosser is something to brag about! I'm so impressed.
Rottweiler's aren't nasty dogs it's how they are brought up. There are loads of people who say rocky's are nasty dogs but I have came across loads what have been very loving, all dogs can be nasty but thats because they are being protective. No dog is a machine, I think rocky's are very loving dogs. People say one of our dogs is nasty because it is a Chinese fighting dog a Shar-pei but it is a loving a loyal dog to it's family and will warn strangers and if they need to protect as in bite they will.
Get the dog as long as you love it well don't get rid of it after a couple of months because you can't cope with it as the saying goes, dogs aren't just for christmas their for life. Walk it every day, feed it once a day, give it water once a day and bath it, you are caring and loving for the dog, if you look after it I don't see a reason not to get one.
Edit: If you have trouble training him/her ask a professional dog trainer for help or advice.
Not that I'm going to bother suggesting a hiding spot for a dog because frankly, I see this post utterly ridicolous but I'm compelled to say that thats not a nice thing to do. If your mum hates dogs, get her something that she likes and that'll she use.
I need to say do not get the dog and do not take my first post of advice telling you to give it to her early... If your getting it for yourself wait till your own birthday.
