wheel suggestions
i hopefully gunna get a wheel soon. im 14 so the g25 is too expensive but is there anything else out there that is still good? ive had a browse on Amazon.co.uk but am unsure on wot to get.
any suggestions? thanks for ur help
SRT reviewed the Thrustmaster RGT. Got a decent review. Has a clutch so it would be a good cheaper alternative to the G25. DFP and MOMO you might have to get off ebay and since your 14 minght not have access to a creditcard. The Thrustmaster can be bought at the store.

thanks, ill hav a look around
I have a Logitech Formula Force EX. Ok, it's a bit cheap and plasticy but it works well enough and is a huge step up from using a keyboard. For £50, (from PC World), I'm not complaining.

I'm sure you can get "better" wheels for the same money, (or less even), from the likes of Amazon and Ebay, but to be honest I don't trust buying second-hand from the internet as you never know who you're dealing with and what you're going to get. Wheels can be dealt some pretty serious abuse and I'm not willing to take the risk.
if you don't do serious racing (2h or 3h comp) you can take almost whatever
at 12 I bought a noname wheels with 2 pedal (same axis), it is cheap, cost me 35$, but it do the job. now im 16 I'm working and I think i might get a g25 from ebay!
i got a DFP and its great i recommend DFP..

I second that. Mine was £50 when I got it 2 and a half years ago, but if you look around you can find it for about £30.

It's a great starter wheel, FFB isn't bad, it's got more buttons than you'll need and it's cheap. And being a Logitech you get pretty good reliability and customer service if you need to contact them.

But really, what's your budget? For the same price as a FFEX you can find a used DFP or MOMO which are both better wheels, but the DFP favours 900 degree wheel rotation.
My vote's for the Driving Force Pro. Great wheel.
my budget is up to £50ish...
im held bak by what ma parents will let me spend-otherwise id get the G25!
Browse Ebay for DFP's and MOMO's then. You should find one (if not a few) in good condition for that price, if not less.
