Just going to take my question down since there way to much hatred going around in the lfs community. instead of getting opinions i get bashed on and told how much I should be takin down and how childish I am..maybe next time you guys should read the whole thing, Half the things you said I already explained in my thread.. Also I wont post anymore If thats how it is here. I came to lfs to make friends and all i get is angry people who pounce on anyone in seconds notice. I asked for insight and if i was in the wrong..and didnt get any of that.. I already told you I wasnt complaining ot hating and that i knew my old post was old and that my old post wasnt even about owning anyone i just added that...and i got the opposite is that.

And even if my last post had nothing to do with nothing of nothing and bob locked it..dosnt give anyone the right to flip out and hate on me..i was just asking simple questions..Im not hurting anything am i...Welll in your guys case I am...

The reason why the thread was closed was because it was pointless. Generally, anything that isn't in the off-topic section is supposed to be:

A. Informative
and
B. In some way of interest and/or benefit to the collection of racers (aka, community) that gather here.

You seriously need to work on formatting your posts dude. You're making life harder for yourself.

Now, the matter in hand. You're complaining about a thread that was closed several months ago? If you had a problem with that decision why didn't you bring it up with Bob at the time? I obviously shouldn't comment as;

1. It was Bob's decision
   
2. I wasn't on the moderation team at the time
   

If anyone has a problem with a thread being closed, or any action from a moderator, they should contact that moderator directly and the action can be explained or reversed. Waiting several months and then moaning makes no sense at all. Clearly the thread wasn't that important at the time. Why is it now?

However, I do have some questions regarding your opening post of this thread.

• Why are you comparing a thread on showing off a tweaked thrashing with threads asking for setups? Most sets people want are for untweaked LFS. You imply that you posted your set and tweak file, but you didn't. You posted a thread stating that you beat someone. Lovely and I congratulate you, but that's something for off-topic, and definately not for Unofficial Addons if you want your e-penis stroked.
  
• I vaguely remember there being threads setup for sharing tweak setups anyway.
  
• "Just becuse [sic] someone didn't find it exciting enough or that it didn't intrest them dosnt mean it should be closed" - threads are never closed here for that reason and I've not yet seen one that has been. Threads tend to be closed if they're total spam, are about to decend into an argument, or already have.
  
• "Maybe next time Ill thread with "HELP" and put. My car no work can I get help thanks" - How on earth is that relevant?! Someone asking for help, but being too thick to post enough information to get help is not the same as creating a spam thread.

If anyone has the impression that the LFS forums are ruled with an iron fist, then they're clearly mistaken. The number of threads closed on an average day less than one or two at the most. The moderating team is also rather loose with what gets closed. I freely encourage you to take a look at other communities, such as the Gary's mod forum, etc. which are vastly different.

Granted there are other forums which are very loose (something awful, for instance), but they're for general chat and utter bollocks.

You're complaining about something nearly a year ago? Seems rather, uh... childish. Not to mention the fact that no one here cares how you "owned" your friend.

I came and asked a simple question and wanted some help or for u to tell me ur thoght..not bash me and tell me that the thread was years ago..I already know this. i also said that I read it today and it got at me and wanted to get thoughts on forums getting locked for no reason..I wasnt bitchin or complaining.. Its not like u can tell on here anyways.. im just typing. I also says the other thread wasnt even about me pwning my freind. that was just added on and it was my first time on the forum so i made a thread asking if my time was fast and if others would show there times. Hi, I think it was closed because your post was really confusing. The entire thread was one long run on sentence. You said it had nothing to do with "owning anyone" yet the thread was titled "Lfs Tweak Pwnage" and the first 100 words of the thread was about you owning your friend.

If you titled the thread properly and simply posted the actual question, highlighted in red below, I think you would have received a much better response.
