Moose just got me to try the demo..... 2 laps later, a paypal payment gets me a License and its falling in love time all-over again.


Silverstone,Spa and Montreal all tried, all great, really immersive..

It seems a great simulator and can imagine i'm gonna be spending many nights in the futre on LFS trying to press the ignition car on the dash board to start it up...

Funny moments starting car up for the first few atempts.... Moose failed to inform me i had a fuel pump, by the time he reminded me to turn it on, a smal red light had come up on the AIM, I asked does that show my fuel pump is on? the reply was no, it means you've got a flat battery.... priceless

Happy to see both you and Tony both had absolutely no problems with it at all. Even Tony with his athlonxp3200 had no issues with fps, even online. I am the good luck charm

Shame. The mods even said that Kunos' crappy posts in the Update #4 thread were sufficient, and made up for the fact the lazy-arse developer can't be bothered to look after his customers, and would rather play arcade-bike-game instead

despite all the problems people report here, anybody in for some pickup racing?

seems like in the past half year even the last drivers trying to get some public racing gave up and are gone now, if i'm online i just lap on my own until i am to bored to keep on. maybe start something like a weekly (or every 2 weeks) meet and greet and get some laps done? i'm not a big fan of formula cars but that ff1600 is really fun to drive (on newbury for example).

if there would be 2 or 3 people interested, we could try to find a day and time fitting for all of us and get some racing together.

I'm "probably" interested as well, at least to see if I like it. Although when I last tried I had all kinds of crazy bugs so my hopes are not that high . Willing to give it a test.

The RSC mods are very sensitive about NKP for some reason. That said, even a mod started bitching recently when a vid got posted of a full BRD rig running NKP with the hill climb car on a circuit.

It was over 8 months ago that Kunos himself posted saying that progress on 1.3 was going well and that it should be out soon. Great joke I guess and all the work on NetBike stuff is VERY bad taste.

I get the feeling that BRD are hoping that NKP retail will just die and go away so they dont have to support. They have what they wanted which is a good sim and its dev in their pocket to exploit. They already got flat spots removed because the probs it caused with THEIR hardware.

I am glad I waited until I could race tintops which means I never got ripped off like others.

No, the license doesn't expire.

Initially they said something like "one year of free updates" which is obviously BS as they meant "free updates until nK Pro 2.0 is released." For some reason it says so on the website. As far as I remember Jaap (the official message deliverer) has confirmed that at least 1.03 will be free and the hillclimb thing too.

But not like it mattered because we'll be dead and rottened when the patch comes out.
