Hey I'm realy intrested to know where to get a camera like that I can mount to my helmet while riding the motorbike I've wanted to do it for a while now.

Contact the blokes at Action Cameras - I'm sure they can tell you what you need even if they don't ship to Oz.

Sounds like you need a bullet cam and a very small recording device.

Cool - do they sell something that might be made into an onboard camera for a F3 car, that could be swapped onto a kart at any LFS karting events...

Edit: Ooooooohhhh!!! This is what I've been looking for I think... Not the cheapest things in the world, but quite reasonable. Not sure about the recording system they use - I'd be quite happy with a box of tricks that is basically a hard drive or flash memory that goes in the car, and you download from that. Don't need a screen tbh. I wonder how good they are against vibrations? Anyway, cool link, will remember that!

Look at the Demon Tweeks website - they sell some expensive camera mounts that are FIA approved and include damping. About £100 I think. I just made a mount up out of two jubilee clips and some steel welded onto them. I just tighten the jubilees round the roll cage. Don't reckon I'd be allowed to use it in an MSA regulated event though.
