hey guys im tryin g to install a mybb forum on my website for my users. but it keeps saying

"Delete install directory" so i delete it then it says "MyBB is not yet installed please install mybb to use your forum.

yeah i dont think it means the whole directory, you had to do the same thing with phpbb boards.

bassicly delete the folder that you have to navigate to to install it.

Its probably a folder called install or something along those lines.

Normally you should delete install.php or setup.php. You can rename them too

i go to my hosts application installer and it says MyBB critical error. please delete the install directory to use your board..... then i do that then it says you board i9s not yet installed please install it before using it.

Got to go to http://yourdomain.co.uk/forum/install
