I have Problem Whit my Fraps

I think is here somebody who can help me whit my fraps. When i start to record whit fraps my LFS fps is 7-8 and its lag like a hell! so please, can somebody help me how i can get picture whit fraps that no lags? or is there any ways to get it like that?

A common trick is to slow down your replay (using the F2 button) and record when LFS is running at 0.125 or 0.25 speed. Then when you're editing your video you speed it up by 8 or 4 speed. That way you end up with a smoother video.

If you're trying to capture a video while you're driving this won't help but there's nothing that can be done about that - recording video and rendering LFS at the same time is very CPU/IO intensive so some slowdown should be expected.

Change your resolution in LFS to 800*600 or even 640*480

You need to speed up the video when you're converting (in VirtualDub, for example).

tbh I have kinda same problem too, My fraps has 60FPS max, but when i save the tape it's always locked on 20. Dunno what's going on...
(normally I have 80-90 FPS when I'm alone on track)

Try limiting LFS to around 20-25 fps.

In LFS, see:

Options/Misc/Limit in-game frame rate (near the top of the screen).
