i got the ai skin pack from the addons section (the ai auto get skins insted of me having to choose a skin for them). i followed the links and put them into the dds folder as they were dds files. i go into the game put none of the ai hav skins? huh? help!

Did you put the other files in the appropriate folders?

Or simpler still, just copy all three of those folders in the LFS/Data and then make it copy the contents into the right folders.

It's worked on mine no problem.

its not the dds folder, its the skins_dds folder. maybe thats the prob.
and i think i y it doesnt automatically crate a new colour set file for every dds placed.
