Yeah, I use to do it all of the time. Not so much any more. And the shiver is a good thing, it's not a burning sensation, it's very pleasant. The shiver for me would come when I would hold it for a long period, and then finally go to the bathroom. The shiver was from the releif, and I would think your body's way of saying thank you. This is normal (the shiver), and by no means makes you weird.

Quote from JamesF1 :Well, I don't know about you, but when I do that (most of the time), I encounter splash-back. Yours sounds altogether more painful

You know, when I read things I auto correct them to what I think they should be, and don't really notice the error, as my mind just skips over the now corrected error (in my mind). So I did not notice that he said slash-back, so good pickup.
Quote from Becky Rose :Here's one, as you guys can aim why dont most of you aim at the porcelain rather than the water so that there is no noise?

One step ahead of you there. I don't see what the "splash-pack" issue is. As long as you aim for juuuuuuust under the lip, the only place it can splash is INTO the toiled bowl. PHYSICS people... PHYSICS.
most of the time i'll aim for the sides of the toilet or urinary so i dont make noise and to avoid backsplash. I'm not sure what you guys mean by shivers. but i just woke up and i've been running around doing house cleaning, and i still have a report to do and leave for class and eat breakfast. why am i on this forum when i have so much to do!!???!
Quote from RocksGt :If pee means receiving a blowjob then yeah... I got that shiver at least twice a day

Spanish nasty mind
Quote from mickyc30 :lol i always give it more than 3 shakes. alot more

The activity your describing is not peeing.
Quote from The General Lee :I get this but very rarely. I find I only get it when I'm cold, I always thought it was the warm pee-pee passing through my Footlong causing me to shiver...

its much more efficient at getting rid of those last few drops than shaking

After years of research on the argument, I can say that if you get the water, you have minimal splashback but quite a noise, while if you hit the porcelain you may get quite a splashback, but it really depends on the toilet. I tried on plane toilets, ferry boat toilets and all possible type of home toilets.
