The only thing you can do is to make them use your setup (a good one), make sure you're set to "Pro" and let them drive lap after lap. They speed up quite a bit compared to new AI, but are never all that fast.
Just leave them to do lots of laps (about 200 in four races) with a mixed grip of slow and fast cars. They'll learn and be reasonably competative, at least in the slower cars.
Oh, and they don't like banking (ovals) it seems...
I had the best AIs with AWD and FWD cars. That way the AI spins out seldomly and can keep a good public-server-pace.
Fast or not, it's great fun to take over a field of 12 AIs one by one .
They AI files are in a folder in the directory, so does this mean that someone could simply download someone elses AI files and then they would be a clone?
not the ai files... the *knw files are important in them is the "skill" for the ai.
if someone gives u his *knw files that will work but they need exactly the same name.
and the game creates for every track/car (combination) an extra *knw file.
