They usually send you an email telling you that they're gonna delete large files if they don't get many downloads. And the stupid thing is that email goes to your junk mail so you usually miss it. But you get a link with that email so you can remove your files from the 'deletion queue', but if you leave it more than 3 days it will be gone.

Download 7zip and then you will be able to extract it. Also WinRAR handles 7zip files AFAIK.
