There is only one kind of DFP which is compatible with PS2, PS3 and PC.

Interesting... Ordered a DFP from an online shop and then some dude called me and asked me if the ps3 version is ok and that the don't have a ps2 version.

Logitech made a wheel for GT5, it's based on the DFP as far as I know.

I guess he just doesn't know what he's talking about. All i'm looking for is a usb plug, right?

Yes, Logitech made drivers for DFP so you won't have any problems using it on PC. I have a DFP for almost 3 years now and it works perfectly well.
