I know, I got 6 stars when I flew into the last island, but I got 4 stars by driving up to a building...It wasn't protected, and there were no barriers. It looked like an embassy or something (it had flags up IIRC).

I just can't get enough of this game!

Everything is so well done and playable...

I love the cars... the crash physics... to simply cruise around and drool over the car damage etc. To slide around corners... it's sooo much fun! For example, to do a handbrake turn with the fire truck at high speed just looks EPIC!

The missions are great aswell. I was always a fan of the GTA style, but this time the storyline is better than ever IMO. I think Niko is a really good character too.

I also think that the soundtrack is easily the best of all GTA titles. Soo many classics and cool tracks! First thing i did was to actually turn the music volume setting to max. Again, best soundtrack ever!

And last but not least... online mode...
So many hilarious moments to be had... so many moments when you're like "OMFG!!!" and then break into laughter. It's easily the best fun i ever had on xbox live...

As i said, i can't get enough... even if i don't really have time, i had to play this game every day since i got it!

Everyone i see online in my friends list... is playing GTA4, since days... without a single exception!

EDIT: Best online moment so far...
I was in a cops and gangsters game with my friend and we were in the cops team. I decided to grab a scooter and convinced my friend to sit on the back of it. We then chased down the team members of the gangsters... catched three of them, one after another. Imagine two cops driving down the street on a scooter... arriving at the scene, shooting the gangster with no mercy, then when he's on the ground, dead, driving off while honking like a mad man... we almost couldn't stop laughing!

Im having trouble getting past the part where you gotta jump on a bike and chase another guy on a bike, after a while he meets up with 3 more bikers and run into a park. (I know, Im not very far into yet, only been playing a couple of hours worth) This is the point where they mow me down like im a statue. I only have a shotgun, pistol, and a mini uzi type thing. I have only tried it a couple of times, so Im sure I will figure it out soon.

I got tired of her extremely frequent phonecalls and once i accepted to go bowling, but "oops", i got my combat shotgun and....you know the rest.

Multiplayer is really great too, not a big surprise anymore, eh?
And also about the drunk driving: I always thought that i can handle car fine, like its no problem and so on, but when I finally tried it out, i had to take all my words back, just amazed how i just couldnt handle the car properly and hugged walls all the time! R* is really a rockstar

I havent tried the online part yet. There is some sort of problem with the ps3 and I have to un-plug my network cable because I was having problems with the game loading. It works fine as long as the internet cable is un-plugged (I found this out AFTER I had deleted all the game files and tried a fresh "install").

Hopefully they will relaease a patch soon so I can try online. I dont guess it matters much, I would rather finish the single player game before I try it online.

What happens if you kill Michelle early in the game, as she's in the story later?

Also, has anyone else been having their GTA stats on PSN roll back? I was on level 3, and turned off the PS3 (exiting multiplayer and playing single player for a while, and saving the game). When I turned it on the next day, I was back to level 1

I always crashed with a car that spins, but then when i got with the 3 guys they killed me, tried again and with the shotgun i can do it... just get behind a tree and cover and BOOM HEADSHOT!

Well, i have only played it for a few hours in total since i got it....WHAT AN AMAZING GAME! I absolutely love it! I am yet to play it online though :/

So far, i have done all of Mikhail's and Vlad's missions. I have also gone past the "situation" you have with dimitri. Atm, i am doing Little Jacob's missions and that Elizabetha or whatever she is called.

I have done 24 missions so i dont think im far from the second island .

I think my most enjoyful time atm, was i was walking underneath the bridge that leads to the second island. I found an old abandoned muscle car, that was complete with missing drivers door, hood, rust, front left wing, and dented roof, the remaining wing was also ripped up. Anyway, niko jumped in and tryed to start it but it would'nt. Eventualy, after cursing, he got it started. Unfortunately, i cop saw me, and i got out and shot him then ran off. This got me 2 stars, and 2 cop cars got behind me after a few seconds. I got onto the freeway, that was above me. Without me knowing, i was heading towards the roadblock. I decided to keep on going, and then plowed into the road block. I actually hit the wall on the left and went over the roadblock, but the landing pushed my left wheel into the door. This slowed me down, and i got six stars. I managed to get to the other side, but there was swat waiting for me. I quickly got shot down and killed . Was great fun seing a helicopter accidently hit the bridge, then blowup and land on the 2 police cars behind me though

my conclusion from this game:
if you dont know how, use a gun

The only thing about the first manny mission is you need about 5 guns because there are so many of them, I have tried twice and failed I will just go to the gun shop and buy enough guns to take them out, can't you buy rocket launchers and grenades now?

I know we all LOVE this game, but what is it that annoys you? There are very few things that annoy me, but one thing i dont like is how easy it is to roll other peoples cars when hitting them on the side. I know its realistic if you push them into a kerb THEN they roll over, but it was seriously redicoulous what happened earlier today. I was in a blista compact, and as i was reversing at a slowish speed, i hit the side of a limo. It then rolled over! i was like "wtf!". Thats all i can think of for now though.

p.s how do you access the trunk of your car? I heard somewhere that you can access the trunk to gain access to weapons?

I constantly go to the weapon shop after every mission so that I have maximum ammo for every gun. It's not that hard a mission anyway, the one soon after uses 20X more ammo

That only seems to happen when you're in certain cars. I plowed into a taxi while driving a bin lorry earlier and he just skidded along the road

im on the last mission on the game and i picked deal at the end WRONG DECISION and now im stuck i did the deal and the mission after it omfg i really can not do it at all its impossible for me i keep getting killed by dimitris rpg when i get in the boat AAAAAAAAAH
