Hi, recently my wheel has been randomly(?) resseting, every 5 mins or so. I'd be in lfs, on the desktop, just anytime it does it, as DFP owners will know, the FFB resets by turning wheel the full 900degrees, this is what it's doing. any suggestions on how to fix it?

Sounds like an issue with the connection - have you tried unplugging it and plugging it into a different USB port?

Yup - i think the problem mightbe that i think the plug is for a non-UK plug socket, although it seems to work fine at my other house, maybe it is this plug

Have you got it plugged into a USB hub, or its own USB port? I had mine plugged into a hub, and any time I turned a light or a fan off, the wheel would reset.

Nope, it's plugged directly into my pc USB socket.

its the usb socket - i had this issue last year with it.

You can take the power out no worries and it does not reset - only when the usb connection is broke/loose.

check your connections

Sorry to BUMP this thread, but it's still happening.. and I'm starting to get annoyed. Sometimes it works for a day - (or more!), but recently it's been resseting like no tomorrow!

I've checked/tried all USB ports, all seem clear, but one thing I've noticed is that once or twice when I've been plugging it in it's sparked abit when it touches the USB port. I was confused, and thought that something might be shorting out or something? Idk but some advice would be cool.
